Project Success: APG Australia Installs One of Australia's Biggest Compressors

Towards the end of 2022, APG Australia's Compressor Division was out in force to install one of Chicago Pneumatic Australia’s biggest compressors with a comprehensive delivery, installation and set-up for the team at Dean Industrial.

Dean Industrial had been using an older Champion CSC110 which was no longer meeting their needs and started underperforming. After a consultation with our Compressor Division, Sales & Servicing Rep, Ryan Tubman, we recommended a replacement for a Chicago Pneumatic CPF 151 A-8. This 110Kw machine is one of the largest machines CP Australia has commissioned and will far exceed their needs for the foreseeable future. This innovative machine also comes complete with a large 700+ cfm of air available, oversized oil and after coolers to keep up with the tough Australian standard. Its touchscreen controller with ICONS customer alerts allows for a user-friendly experience. Our team also paired this compressor with the CPFG High Flow inline air filters and 80mm AirNet Piping System. A fully comprehensive air system, delivering continual air to their team.

We provided an end-to-end service to decommission the old machine and orchestrate the clean removal and preparation of the site. We then coordinated the lifting machinery from WM Cranes and the electrical upgrade using Sparking Larking Electrical. The new compressor was delivered and installed and the full system was upgraded with ease providing peace of mind to our client.

Thanks to this upgrade, Dean Industrial can now have two of their team blasting instead of their previous one-person workload in the painting/coating department. A drastic increase in production times and cost reduction in the long term.
